Lila's Elmo Extravaganza...

We celebrated our sweet girl's 2nd birthday with an Elmo-themed extravaganza!  I had so much fun setting up and preparing for this party, and it was well worth all the effort to see Lila beaming & enjoying the company of our family and friends.

Halloween 2012

This Halloween, I had the extreme pleasure of taking a very brave Captain America and adorable Tinkerbell trick or treating. Of course, we enjoyed a dress rehearsal and photo session prior to the big event. Cy is quite the super hero fanatic these days, so he absolutely loved playing the part.  Our favorite little Rapunzel even joined the fun on Halloween Day, as we stopped by the dental office to check in on our Duck Dynasty Daddies!

 

 

 

 

BLESSED!!!

This is the view I enjoy every single day! These sweet faces, adorable features, and each with an innocence and preciousness that reflect our Creator.  I could stare at these images for hours!  My heart is so full & I am happier, even in exaustion, than I have ever been!  Thank you, Lord for the tremendous blessing, honor & privilege of getting to be the one these angels call "Momma"!!!

 

 

My Growing Passion...

I am now the proud owner of a 50mm lens, and am learning so much right now.  So naturally, I want to practice whenever I can!  Consequently, I would be hard pressed to find cuter subjects to work with (thankfully, they don't run & hide when I pull out my camera...yet), and thus an obsession is born!  I have always loved photography, but now my growing passion for it is driving me to want to be better & better.  I know that it is a slow process, but I sure am having a lot of fun, capturing special moments, and heavily documenting our life in photos along the way!  Here are some of my favorite pictures from the past few days :)

 

Pumpkin Patch 2012

We made our way to the pumpkin patch on a beautiful Fall morning.  (Actually, Lila and I have been twice!)  This time of year, October, in particular, is just my absolute favorite, so sharing these special moments with my children makes my heart full!

Cy's 1st Day of Preschool

Cy started his first day of 3 year old preschool this morning & absolutely LOVED it!  The only tears shed were by Lila Grace because she wanted to stay.  Momma and Lila enjoyed some quality girl time and the morning flew by.  He'll be going to Calvary Baptist on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, from 9-Noon, with Mrs. Weathers.  Such a big boy...we're so proud of you, Cy Wesley!!!
