sweet cheeks photography

Something kind of big has happened...I am officially a business owner!!! sweet cheeks photography has been in my head and on my heart for months, and I am thrilled that my little business is up & running.  I can't wait to photograph all the beautiful children, newborns, bellies, Seniors and families that have already booked sessions with me this Spring. Thank you, sweet friends for your outpouring of support & encouragement!  Here is my new logo...

I shot a beautiful Senior session over the weekend that I am really proud of, so I have to share!  Brittney is a gorgeous young lady, who is just as beautiful on the inside as she is the outside.  I appreciate so much being given the opportunity to share in such an exciting time in her life.  I won't be posting many client photos on this blog, but this one's pretty special since it was my first Senior shoot.  If you're interested in seeing all the "sweet cheeks" that I'll be photographing in the upcoming months, be sure to check out & LIKE my new fb business page sweet cheeks photography.

Me & My Boy: 1st popsicle of the season :)

Daily Project: Week 10

Channeling his inner Peter Pan

Lila Grace fell victim to the stomach bug- which must be the only bug/virus we had yet to encounter this winter. :( Hoping and praying that our immune systems have been sufficiently boosted, and that this bout with illness will be our last for many, MANY months to come!!!

Daily Project: Week 9

I was out of town at the beginning and end of Week 9, so don't have quite as many photos to share.  I did, however, enjoy a fun trip to Dallas with my mom and grandparents for the Mavs/Lakers game.  As well as, a road trip to Austin for the Girls HS State Basketball Tournament where mom, Cy, Lila, & I rooted on our friend, and my former coach, Leland Bearden and the Smyer Lady Cats.  Smyer won second, the kids enjoyed our hotel's indoor pool, and we consumed far more meals courtesy of Chic-fil-a & McDonalds than anyone should on a given weekend!  So fun!

Daily Project: Week 8

Cy's 1st year of preschool has been pretty rough on our normally healthy bunch.  We've endured the flu three separate times (even though both kiddos got their flu shot), multiple colds, RSV, ear infections and pneumonia!  We are all very ready for Spring.  Lila Grace was feeling really rotten in this picture, but she's still such a cutie!
