We got to see Dr. Owen on Tuesday and she informed us that early labor has definitely begun! I was 1-2 cm dilated and 80% effaced!!! Cy has dropped quite a bit allowing more heartburn-free nights...which has been much appreciated. Travis and I are thrilled because this progress should provide for a successful induction next Thursday...unless Cy decides to make his arrival prior to the 28th!!! Just a few days left until we get to meet our little man. Thank you to everyone who has kept our family in your prayers throughout this amazing experience. Please continue to pray for a healthy delivery for Cy and I as we enter the last week of our pregnancy and a smooth transition into the first few days of parenthood!

You're doing great! That's the same spot I was in with my first and I went into labor the next day! We'll be thinking about you and praying for a smooth delivery. :)

Yay! That is so exciting. Can't wait to meet him...and this just reminded me that the next Crossroads baby after Cy will be mine! Yikes!

I recommend a very bumpy ride in the car. It may be uncomfortable, but I had very good success on starting contractions that way and it also gets those babies to move down lower. When you're already on the downhill side, it just takes a small thing like that to get things going. :) Good luck!
