Our Baby Girl is 8 Weeks Old!

Our sweet, Lila Grace is 8 weeks old!!! It's hard to believe that we have been a family of 4 for almost 2 months now! Lila has been such a joy in every sense of the word! She is really a content, laid back, little girl...which her momma greatly appreciates. She has started sleeping longer stretches at night consistently (woohoo!), is building those back & neck muscles holding her head up well, and is smiling and cooing for Momma & Papa more & more each day. Here are a few more fun quirks & milestones that Lila is tackling at present:

~She is quite the grunter! She makes sweet noises when she eats, stretches, sleeps...thoughtfully reminding us of her presence!
~Takes a bottle well. She usually has a bottle a day (or every other day) & drinks 3 1/2 to 4 oz. per feeding.
~Lila is sleeping longer stretches at night consistently, but there's no consistency, just yet, in the exact length of that stretch. She usually goes 5-8 hrs between feedings at night.

~Her feeding schedule: 7:00-7:30= wake-up & 1st feeding, 10:00-10:30 am, 1:00-1:30 pm, 4:00-4:30 pm, 7:00-7:30 pm, 10:00-11:00 pm.....then she usually wakes for a night/early morning feeding between 4:00 & 7:00 am.

~Awake for 45 min. to 1 1/2 hrs. after daytime feedings, then sleeps 1.5-2 hrs
~Is a very quick & efficient eater. A feeding normally takes 15-20 min.
~Her 2 month well check & vaccinations are scheduled for Feb 4th, so I'm not sure how much Lila weighs. But if I were a betting girl, I would guess she weighs 8 1/2-9 lbs.
~Wearing 0-3 month clothes
~Moved to Size 1 Swaddlers today!
~Is working on reaching out & grabbing objects, namely...momma's hair. :)
~Her eyes track objects consistently.
~As mentioned above, she is smiling & cooing more and more when you talk to her.
~Is entranced by the ceiling fans
